I fancy Villa for a UEFA spot next season, although having said that I'd expect us to beat them by a goal...1-2.

I can't see it Morse. Newcastle, Spurs, Portsmouth and City will all probably do better than Villa. But it will definitely be an interesting battle for 5th and 6th place.

Yeah, draw written all over it
I'm never confident of us picking up all three points against the likes of Villa, Bolton, Fulham away

one thing we have to improve on massively next season is our away form if we want to win #19

They are going great guns at the moment 7 goals in there last two pre season games, Ashely Young and Luke Moore looking very handy.

Its not going to be the walk over everybody seems to think on here. Martin O Neills teams rarely get done over at home

my best mate is a villa fan- in the local brummie paper poll 80% of villa vans felt let down by what the club have done so far since lerner took over

                      as of now

they have no right back. no CB cover. 1 left back

                      1st choice keeper injured

lost 7 players from last year's meagre squad

                      signed reo coker and harewood

i asked what were the 20% happy about?

anything less than 3 points and i'll be hugely upset. a serious challenge means winning at a place like villa park quite frankly

We'll win by two clear goals. Villa were ****e last year and are shaping up to be even worse this time around.

They're another pain in the arse team that really don't deserve to be in this league but somehow manage to stay up each year. I fancy them for a proper relegation scrap this time around.
What have I learned, Mr Mackay? Three things. One - bide your time. Two - keep your nose clean. And three - don't let the *******s grind you down

I reckon they'll be there for the taking and I would love to be confident that we'll get the 3 points. I agree with all the positive 'Let's rip 'em to pieces' etc, but until the final whistle blows, I'll still be slightly nervous that it'll take more time for our new faces to settle into a 'well oiled machine' mode.

Hopefully I'll be more reassured after the Rotterdam tournament this weekend.
