Actually proper thai weed (there), if you go to the right regions, is some of the tastiest and uplifting sativa-high you can get. Don't let cheap imports fool ya! (But yes, the exported stuff is often of low quality).

Yeah AFII/Tommy has got some very serious and worrying **** going on and can't post at the moment. Hopefully he'll be back sooner or later.
