I think it's their first time in Europe for quite some time - they've got a very low ranking value.

In that case they better enjoy all 180 minutes of their European reniassance because that is all they are going to get.

I bet Platini will be delighted that his countrymen drew one of the competition's top seeds in the qualifying round.

Expect some mummerings re changes to the Champions League very shortly.

Yes, but two days before they were handed two points because their match against Nantes was abandoned because angry fans invaded the pitch. The match was a 0-0 draw when it was stopped by the referee three minutes from time after hundreds of Nantes fans descended on to the pitch. If this result had been standing, they would have been 7th and out of Europe.

They'll go in to the Uefa then tho and they can carry on their reniassance by beating Everton.

Although I would love it if EFC got Bayern Id even go to Goodison to watch that.

Bayern may have Ribery, Toni and Klose, but dont forget the bitters have Phil Neville and Lee Carsley.

I'll never forget before the Villareal tie at Goodison, and Itv were interviewing Bitters and asking them if they were worried about facing the likes of Riquelme, Forlan and Sorin, to which one guy goes "yeah, they're good players, but we've got Big Duncan Ferguson"

Seriously, it would be a mismatch and an embarrassment - I think we can all assume would kind of tactics that genius Moyes will resort to.

They will be no push over......

To lose to Toulouse would be a disaster.

I would be well happy with 1 - 0 ........................end of........

Let's hold the laugh under our breath for a while.
We got a tie to win, and it isn't a walk over by any means.

the voice of reason Tomas. You are right - it's not a hard draw on paper but we still have to do the business. We've been caught cold in the second legs of these games in previous seasons.

Agree. I'd rather be going to a French rugby town than Sparta Prague like the gunners though.

Is Sparta Vladi's team, or is that Slavia? Either way, glad to have avoided a trip to Prague, Turkey, Russia et al. Nice trip to France suits us IMO.

Nice draw for us the boys can get a bit more sun and a few bottles of Wine when they are there.

I fear a tad for Celtic though, tough draw for them........
