    Setanta Help Needed

Have moved house recently and have had Sky out four times now and they are insistent they can not fit a dish as we have a 200yr old tree (with a protection order on it) on our road which blocks the signal. I am desperate for some footie on the box, and am thinking of getting a freeview box to get the setanta package, questions are:
    1. Does the Liverpool channel come with standard setanta subscription on a freeview box?
    2. How much is the setanta subscription per month?? (I have been getting varied answers!)
    3. Are there many Liverpool games on the setanta channels if i can't get liverpool channel??

I know these are probably answered in another thread somewhere else but can't seem to find it, any help appreciated!

get virgin media, and then go for the setana option on that, freeview is crud.

Can't get virgin cable, already tried that, no cable in our area! Hence having to use freeview as last resort!

Have you considered BT vision, might be worth looking into. You can subscribe to Setanta through that plus you can download all the Sky games for a delayed viewing for a couple of quid per game. Might not be the ideal solution but it is an alternative option!

                  Forget Freeview mate:

"Although LFC TV will not be available as a stand-alone channel on Freeview, fans with a Freeview subscription to Setanta will be able to watch some of the top action on Setanta Sports 1, including LFC TV-branded Champions League and Premier League matches."

They've won the league, bigger stars than Dallas, they've got more silver than Buckhingham Palace, no one knows quite what to expect, when the Red Machine's in full effect!

Smither, are you saying that if you have setanta on freeview you won't get liverpool fc tv?? This would make some sense as I can't find it anywhere on setanta's web page and you would like to thin k they might publicise something like liverpool fc tv!!

yeah thats what i reckon, although Hass made the point.

it seems from the official site freeview won't be an option
