To be fair the lad will hardly ever get a game. He'll be 2nd choice right back and that is the best he'll do - occasional cover for Finnan, a la Josemi.
He's never gonna play left back.
He'll hardly ever play centre back as he's at least 4th choice behind Carra, Sami and Agger, and I'm sure Paletta would have something to say about that too.
Seems a strange one to me. He's not an attacking, rampaging right back in the mould that Rafa normally likes ('laterals') so even as 2nd choice right back I can hardly see the bloke fitting in.
I reckon we'll pack him off to Sevilla (or somewhere else) when we finally find the funds to buy Alves. He'll be another Josemi/Kromkamp type; a short term buy IMO.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’Comment

Neill can be a bit rash at times in the box (eg his near penalty vs Chelsea the other day) but that is my only doubt against him as a footballer. I'm sure Rafa wouldn't be interested in Neill if he thought his thuggishness was too much to deal with.
