Almost all of my non LFC-supporting mates think he's crap - especially my sanctimonious Spurs mate. Reckons Reina is '****e' and 'the beneficiary of a solid back four in a negative, defence-first team'. :whatever:

Oh yeah, and he reckons Robinson's the dog's bollocks.

Although that said, one of my LFC mates from back home doesn't rate Reina and wants Carson in the side. It beggars belief.

I love Reina - he's immense.

My best mate is Spurs fan and he has reservations about Reina. Thankfully he is clever enough to be devastated Robinson hasnt been replaced yet.

Most of my mates dont think he's in the top 5 keepers in the league.

How can people not see that Pepe is very very good.

he does have a good defence infront of him but look how bad that defence looked when dudek played behind them. he inspires confidence he also knows his strengths and weeknesess and he has (unlike many previous LFC keepers) had a dodgy spell and come through it. He has the mental strength to be a top top keeper if he is not one already

I lost count the times Reina had no saves to make until the 80th minute or so then he'd make a game saver.
Concentration is the #1 key to a good keeper and Reina got that 100&#37;.

I dont know why he doesn't get picked. From what I've seen, Casillas is a very overrated keeper.

nah casillas is pure class, pepe's just unfortunate to be behind him in the spanish team.

i rate reina as better than cech, there both equally good shot stoppers but reina rules on penalties.
