That's a bit below the belt, paul.Originally posted by paulcooper4 View PostFor his range of passing? His vision? His goalscoring prowess or his ability to run around and win the ball back that he`s just given away?

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Gerrard every day of the week.
It amuses me why he's not lauded more at this club.
Is it the fact he's always moaning, whinging through matches etc. Screw that, i'm the same when i'm playing. Gerrard has high expectations, is ultra competitive and his desire to win is unquestionable. There is no way in hell LFC would be anywhere near as successful in recent times without him.
We'd truly be ****ed without him, i really believe that.
Carra a very, very close second. Both legends. Lucky to have 'em both....

I think the reason that people are less keen to laud Gerrard is partly the fact we have been labelled a one man team for so long with him as the one and partly due to the bad taste left by the Chelsea saga.Originally posted by Bob View PostGerrard every day of the week.

However the number of people who have listed him as their favourite player shows it is more a lack of verbalisation than a lack of affection/admiration for/of him."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."
