    I suppose there is a small chance that he might turn his career around, similar to Dean Ashton, however it's only a small chance.

    Just to cover our backs, I hope we've inserted a sell-on clause in the deal. Would be nice to earn some more cash on him, if he becomes a success.

      good luck to the lad, i'm sorry to see him go, had high hopes for him, but hope he fights of his injuries and knockes a few in the net...

        He should have lost the weight he needed to.
        I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

          True, he never lasted longer than 60mins when he played in the first XI before looking absolutely shattered. I'm sure his injury played a part but it was obvious he wasn't fit enough and when Rafa told him to lose some weight he should have listened.
