What's wrong with that I am wishing him luck, I wanted him to do it here but he won't lose the weight so maybe this will give him the kick up the arse.
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nowt to do with his knees being ****ed then?
Just show the lad a bit of respect. He tried his hardest at liverpool and came very close to achieving the dream. He worked his balls off for us. At least he will always have the memory of that arsenal goal, and dragging us to the league cup final too.
      Best of luck neil

I have got respect for him, yes he has got dodgy knees but what causes that? Being a pro athlete that is overweight. I called him fatboy as a friendly name not at all in malice. I think you should have been able to see that distinction before you called me a ******.

So thanks for Arse and Olympiakos goals.
The right level for him I reckon. Not a good enough athlete for the Premier league.

Mellor deserves a lot of respect in my eyes - he may not have been quite good enough, but he's a good pro who loved the club and gave everything he had for us. He's been at LFC for years and also achieved more for us than players who have played 5 times as many first team games. Good luck to him at Preston, and I hope he gets to play at Anfield again and gets given a great reception.

It would have been great if another Scouser made it to the first team...

But I think everyone would admit that he just wasn't good enough.

                    I wish him good luck!

                      He's from Sheffield mate - he's not a scouser.

                        Oh really?

I always thought of him as a Scouser...

Well, let me re-phrase that and say it would have been nice to have someone from the youth system make it to the first team
