Who amoung the 1st team hang out or chill or whatever together and if there's a strong clique does it hinder the team playing well together, i know from playing local football friends would only pass to each other. I doubt it happens to that extent but lets say for EG crouch is unmarked and kuyt's in possession, does he pass to him or his best buddie babel who is marked, i'm sure ye catch my drift. It must happen sometime.

Strange thread...at any decent club like ours they're professionals who get paid a lot of money, so that **** should never happen. However, as macca pointed out (nice to see you around by the way), sometimes when you get a club with a load of big time charlies it can happen. But those teams never succeed, which is no coincidence

I'm sure there was trouble at the end of the Houllier days. No-one liked Diouf and they wouldn't give him the ball, even when he was completely free down the wing. When Benitez came in he got rid of Murphy very quickly (everyone was surprised by the swiftness) as I believe he had been told there was a trouble-making clique that were too big for their boots (Houllier's bio was supposed to reveal the **** that had been going on). Owen was helped to the door (obviously he would be most offended by Diouf's arrogance when he turned up) and Gerrard would have been next (Alonso was brought in to replace him). I believe that Benitez did the same thing at Valencia - got rid of the prima donnas and built a proper team?
