You can tell alot by Rafa's team selection.This year I hope he just rotates at most 3players weekly.In previous years when I saw the team,I would think unfortunately not today.Not enough threat on the pitch and on the bench.

For me that 8 should be there weekly and the few remaining positions should be rotated.You know what you are going to get with this lot.
For now,Riise and Arbeloa will fight for left back.Aurelio,Insua and heinze if he signs will too.Heinze and Hyppia as CB cover too.The two wing positions have to be chosen carefully.We need a real consistent threat from there.
Torres should start weekly like Carra and Stevie.If he gets the ammunition then he will get 20 goals easily.Our bench is going to be very important this year.We have to be bold and have options.Having no sub keeper at times could be an option even though it sounds mad.
Today is the day to lay down a message.Go at Villa bigtime and to be ruthless with our chances.If players dont perform then Rafa should show no mercy and put them in the reserves.We cant afford to be carrying passengers.If we start well then confidence will be high and competition good.

I think Rafa will never abandon rotation and will probably be the same next season. The difference is that he can put class players in the side now instead of class players, I´m not that fussed who he plays upfront for example, we have four good strikers and any combination should do for most teams in the Prem. We have excellent CM´s and there isn´t much between Pennant and Yossi or Kewell and Babel.Those who played the most last season will do so again, Finnan, Carra, Agger, Reina and Gerrard but Gerrard will probably play less though. I have good feeling about this season

I would'nt say all our players are class to be honest.The core players I mentioned are.
We have to start with Torres up front.If we keep the core players in the team and dont get too many injuries then we have a good chance.
We should turn Villa over today.No excuses for any underperformers this year.
