This should be made a sticky - so we can look back on some stats when Kuyt is in bottom half of prem goal scorers this season. HE WAS SIGNED AS A STRIKER not as an engine - we have a couple of those. OH and Pennant is ****e too.

**** me there are some ******s on here tonight

try ****ing supporting the team instead of slagging off our own ****ing players

we're winning away from home, haven't looked in any real danger and some of our players are feeling their way into playing. the new boy up top looks to have a good touch and bit of intelligence in his movement and all the lads are working hard.

the following players have been slated in this thread and this is my take on it.

pennant is up and down and his pace has been a decent outlet. a few good crosses and a few poor ones
JAR has got in behind their right back a few times and looked dangerous
dirk is working hard and has linked with SG and FT well a few times and lost it a few times
arbeloa looks solid enough and is helping JAR when he can

so get off their ****ing backs and try cheering them on. you might enjoy the game a bit more

There was some great stuff in that half, really fluid, and most importantly, QUICK movement. Kuyt and Torres looked really good.

Even more importantly we scored first, away from home. We need to replace Arbeloa with Babel soon (55min) IMO to increase our goal threat. Later (75min) if we still lead Momo for Kuyt.

Cmon Liverpool!!! Lets get another (i have $10 on 2-0)
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

Cahill has come on for Laursen at the back for Villa.

                Second half kicking off now.

Riise finds the side-netting, bursting infield from the left and driving it low.

Carra lofts one forward, Torres gets onto it and hooks it back but comes to nothing.

Useless fact for the day - the English Championship has never been won by a bearded manager. According to the commentators.

Villa pressure, Young gets past finnan and his cross his parried into middle of box by Pepe but the ball is cleared for a corner. Corner cleared by Carra.

MON apparently ripping into Villa at half-time.

Scrappy start to this half by both teams. Villa get into trouble at the back but we fail to make the most of it.
