FT 2-1 3pts. So many good chances. A lot of attacking play to enjoy. SG was superb all match. He had 5 good chances. I thought Kuyt and Torres looked good together. Was impressed with Babel when he came on. Carra superb despite penalty. Riise and Pennant not the answer on the wings but Babel might be. Villa have some pace but were poor to be honest. We deserved to win, no question.

All in all a great start to the season.

New season, same problems really, not enough quality in finishing or final ball even though the movement up front was good at times.
