Kuyt was excellent today, very clever movement off the ball both him and Torres to create space down the left, did not have too much to work off, but hey its the opening game of the season Away to a Martin O Neil team that just beat Inter 3 Nil ...

Quality result ... even better we came back from 1-1 to clinch it .. Great Moral and confidence boost !!

Kuyt is always execelent but he needs to start moving the onion bag a little more,he`s a striker not an attacking midfielder.I really hope Rafa puts him on the shoulder of the last defender more this season.

Give the lad a chance, the first season is all about settling in. Your Dirk ****e still scored a good few goals in that settling in season.
If he doesn't improve the Rafa will do what is necessary, but Rafa obviously sees enough in him to pick him.

I have to say mate and I'm one of Stevie F's biggest fans, but I thought he gave the ball away a little to much in the first half and was caught for pace a couple of times but for the most part was his usual composed self.
