No the point was more aimed at the league, our squad is much stronger than then but so is Chelsea and Man U's

I am seriously so excited with most of our signings this year. The crow was a hit in preseason, and Babel is going to be a wonderkid over the years. No need to sing Torres' praises anymore as we saw how well he and Kuyt linked up after just one match, and the floodgates are going to open up as soon as they gel even more.


All in all our attack was impressive, and we were away!!!!


Can we petition the league so that there's at least one Liverpool game every day? I don't like this waiting crap.

The bench is the big difference for me. You pick your starting 11 with a view to getting a result, but if things aren't going as planned, you turn to your bench to make the breakthrough. In his first season, if his starting line up wasn't doing the business, he had nobody to turn to. Before he had difficulty picking a bench, now his problem is which five to choose.

I'd say that was completely wrong, and it was more the other way round, i'm not convinced the first 11 is much better than last season, but the squad is deffo better and maybe one of the best in the league now
