I was simply continuing the captain's 'humorous' interpretation of your comment.
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Disgraceful, ruining my fist ever thread.

What a ****ing liberty (might as well go back to 6cm)

after todays match should we assume that Verony is moving up that pecking order?

Finishes like that can only make it harder for big Pete.

Makes you think who will have the least time on the pitch out of our four strikers this season, it could well be Croucher

He needs to play better than he did today to be honest. He may look at little short of confidence but he didn't have the best of games and slowed down our football when we were motoring away on the break.

I thought he was great today.

EDIT: Why did i think this was a thread about Hyypia

He played okay today, he found his partner with a fair few flicks / headers, but with a lack of real quality on the wings he often had to make do competing for balls that were hit by Carra, Sami or Finnan - i.e. from 40-50 yards away.

Didn't look a goal threat but then we hit only a couple of half-decent crossed in during the entire 90 minutes. We really are bereft of any real quality wide players - I was even missing Pennant today!

That match today was one of the worst games I've witnessed. EVER. Can't be judged on that performance...

                            Going by today:

Crouchies role this season - warming the bench
                            Thomas Hicks Senior

                              Agree with that.

It was a ****ing awful game of football, Kuyt wouldn't have done any better.

As long as we don't have any class wingers then we really don't need Crouch.

He slows down our game. Ok, he scores some goals but he you will also need to count in the negative things with his game and how much that "hurts" the team.

I would sell him for £15m+ if that means that we will sign an excellent right winger because that player would add more to our team than Crouch.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
