I would sell him for £15m+ if that means that we will sign an excellent right winger because that player would add more to our team than Crouch.
why wingers? crouchy might be big but he's an awful header, simple as that.
crouchy can be superb but also bloody useless. you never know what his contribution will be like. unless he doesn't get more consistent i can't see him starting too many games.

One of Crouchy's best attributes is his movement. He is deceptively good at finding space in the box and making intelligent runs - look at his Arsenal goals as three prime examples of this.

If we don't play with decent wingers then instead of having balls to attack he has to receive them - normally with his back to goal. Whilst he can find his partner or knock the ball into space for someone making a run if the pass is coming from inside our own half then there's no chance of him finding room to make an effort on goal as he doesn't have the pace to turn and beat a man.

He is however good at finding room in the box and getting on the end of crosses either to knock down or volley. He is never going to run past a player onto a through ball. I think that the players we had out there tonight are capable of producing the right service for Crouch but they need to find some form and get used to playing with each other.

We also as a team have to get ready to use the runs which Babel and Benayoun make as they don't do what more conventional wide players do and we need to alter the passes we make when they play as opposed to Pennant or even Riise.

I think Torres & Kuyt should be our first choice partnership up front, however instead of changing it week in week out, I would like let players play together to form partnerships and if we are changing play Crouch and The Crow together.

Obviously wouldn't work that way ALL the time but much as I hate to admit it, it worked a treat for the Scum a few years back when Yorke & Cole were no. 1 choice and when being rested / changed they brought in Sheringham & Solksjaar who continued banging in the goals

          Could this work for us?

No decent wingers and Crouch slows us down.

Good wingers and Crouch doesn't slow us down and we need to speed up our game.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                Except for an assist.

I know he hardly "made the goal", what with the finish being a 25 yard screamer, but still.

When Crouch is 'off' he can appear rubbish, but even when he's rubbish he still contributes.
