"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

        Well, it's 100% true.

        Excellent clip
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I posted that ages ago but yeah, great song.
Was being belted out at villa park on saturday evening. Nice.
"Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

Yeah the rendition of it Villa was awesome. There were about ten minute spells where it didn't stop. I personally love it, it's catchy and factually true haha.
Manchester. . . WANK WANK WANK

The rendition on that night in Monastiriki was the highlight of my trip to Athens. We sang it for a good half an hour, including the verse about the best defence in the world. It was in many ways cathartic and made you feel that we would actually see a golden sky at the end of the horrible storm that was the CL Final.

Delighted to hear it loud and clear at Villa.

The only problem I have with that song is that it was used by Man Utd fans about 4 years ago in the season when the CL Final was in Glasgow. I know they've nicked songs off us over the years (e.g. "Campione" or "Champione" as the ignorant Manc ****s now sing) but that one is quite distinctively theirs.

It's a bit like them nicking "Ring of Fire" or singing "The Fields of Sir Matt Busby Way"...
There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.

Well not really- it's also sang a lot about Kaka by the AC Milan fans and from what I heard in Monastiriki square by some of the other fans thats exactly where we got it from.

Just because AC Milan's fans nicked it from Man United's and then we changed it doesn't make it any easier to accept. IMHO...

is that a line with a riggling maggot on it? Your not telling me Milan nicked anything from United let alone a song. I'm not biting

I wasn't speculating or fishing, just merely stating the facts...

United fans started singing this version of the same song (to the tune of "The Entertainer" by Scott Joplin) in the season 2001/2002 when the CL Final was held at Hampden Park:

                        There'll be thousands of Reds

'Cos United are going to Glasgow
Kaka joined AC Milan in 2003 so their fans must have copied the tune from the Mancs just like they've been known to sing "YNWA".

My point was that it is widely recognised as a Manc tune so, despite us changing the words, they will still be able to claim we nicked it from them...

So? Italian clubs have been singing songs to that tune for years and Milan is one of them. I only sing it because we stole it from Milan and not another English club. How do you know it's fact? do you got to the San siro often and ask "where did you get that song from la?"

I'm not having it that Milan robbed that directly from United!

OK, Jacko, you're right and I'm wrong and any similarity between the Mancs' song about going to Glasgow from six seasons ago and "The Best Midfield in the World" is obviously just an amazing coincidence...
