    'Torrid time for Torres'

This is from Collymore's piece in the Mirror. He's clearly still a moron of the highest calibre...

    Torrid time for Torres

    More Stan Collymore
My Heart went out to Liverpool's £23m striker Fernando Torres when he didn't score on Saturday.

There's a lot of promise in his partnership with Dirk Kuyt, but his scoring record at Atletico Madrid was not great. The last time Liverpool had a 20-goal-a-season man was in the two seasons I played with Robbie Fowler.

So unless Rafa Benitez plans to play Torres in 80 or 90 per cent of the games with an established strike partner, I can see him struggling.

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

            Unnecessary.

            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Only in self-defence, i.e. if they've just head-butted his boot. Allegedly... :whatever:

Why not start a thread on the subject then?

What ever happened to his miraculous comeback? I thought that after watching the world cup he realised that none of the players there were currently better than him, and because he had so much time off he actually still had the legs and body of a 25 year old.

I wouldn’t worry too much about anything Stan says, he usually makes me laugh.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
