What ever happened to his miraculous comeback? I thought that after watching the world cup he realised that none of the players there were currently better than him, and because he had so much time off he actually still had the legs and body of a 25 year old and the mind of a 6 year old

To be fair Torres ain't a 20-goal a season man, and he clearly wasn't bought with that intention. But on first impressions in a league game he certainly has the potential (albeit early days) IMO.
