I don't suppose he actually wrote it, did he? Usually with these kinds of columns it's just some hack asking questions then writing up the answers to make it as sensationalist as possible..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Torrid time for Torres
13/08/2007
More Stan Collymore
My Heart went out to Liverpool's £23m striker Fernando Torres when he didn't score on Saturday.
There's a lot of promise in his partnership with Dirk Kuyt, but his scoring record at Atletico Madrid was not great. The last time Liverpool had a 20-goal-a-season man was in the two seasons I played with Robbie Fowler.
So unless Rafa Benitez plans to play Torres in 80 or 90 per cent of the games with an established strike partner, I can see him struggling.
A) his partnership does look promising
B) his scoring record at madrid wasn't great
C) re: 20 goals a season, Torres will struggle to get 20 unless he plays in 80-90% of the games.
What exactly has SVC said wrong??
