    Wednesday's game in London Pubs

Hello fellas - managed to persuade the boss that a 3.15 departure on Wednesday is a good thing, now just need somewhere to go.

Anybody know of a pub/bar in or around Westminster or Liverpool Street area of London likely to be showing the game? I work right by Westminster station and went on a recon at lunch time - not many TVs around.

I've tomorrow lunch time to find one so any hints would be great....

The Railway Tavern right by Liverpool Street station is quite good. There are a couple of pubs along Bishopgate which certainly have screens (I think the Woodins Shades is one).

Is there any plans for people to meet up for this match? If so it might be worth your while coming more central.

I'm 'sadly' saddled with a young lady for this game so even if there was a meet up I couldn't go, but I didn't realise there was such a thing on these boards. Could be interesting for later in the season. Where is 'Central' roughly?

We went to a pub by Russell Square (the Friend at Hand) for the last match as it has Setanta but previously (and probably for non-Setanta matches) we congregate in the Green Man near the Middlesex hospital.

'twas good. Not particularly busy but it is clearly a nice pub and the company was good. A good bet I reckon for weekend Setanta matches.
