Great news. He was starting to look very good just before his injury. His delivery of crosses from the left side against Arsenal at Anfield was superb.

I remember sat in the paddock against Gala, he was just feet away from me as he sent in the cross for our first goal so I had a perfect view, it was a thing of beauty, Crouch only needed to stand in its way. I nearly nutted on the spot

        We really dont need Heinze.

But Heinze can cover at centre back too..........quite poorly judging by the Scum v AC Milan last season

We do because Arbeloa isn't a left-back, despite good performances there, Aurelio is injury-prone and Riise is **** . Heinze also offers top class (when fit) centre back cover.

I must say I think Riise might not have a future with us if we land Heinze. I don't want him to be sold but where on earth is he going to fit in?

              Enlightening statement as ever.

We've got Hyppia and Arbeloa who can play at center back equally as well as Heinze.

                We dont need him.

EDIT: Dont we have that other young lad who can play left back too ?

                  Insua, aye.

Are you back from your European travels already or are you sitting in an internet caff somewhere?

Well he will stay to keep some continuity in the back four while others make the transition. He knows how to play in the Rafa back four while Heinze doesn't.

I'd still prefer to see Chiellini (sp?) although that is for another discussion.

I guess so but what's the point in questionning whether we need him or not ? Rafa seems to think so, so the argument should end there IMO. It also is becoming increasingly clear that JAR won't be here beyond this season. The simple fact that Rafa's picked Arbeloa ahead of him at left back on Saturday is a clue.

Got back like two days ago.

Had to come back early 'cos I ran out of money.

                        Had an awsome time though.

He'll be 3rd choice when Heinze comes.

Puty he started to get a bit of form before he got injured but whenever i see him he just looks a lazy fook
When you feel like you're done, you are not alone........
