It's so sad when Kuyt gets ripped up here by a fair amount and Kewell is like the prodical son.We are a better team without him and hopefully by the time he is fit Babel will hold that position.

I agree the slagging of Kuyt is just wrong.

What you need to realise is the people who slag Kuyt are not the one's supporting Kewell.

If he had so much talent it would shine through and it does not when he plays.I would have Hammill in before him.He could not do any worse and would go through a wall for the club.I liked what I saw of Spearing last season too.He has character and was the man.I know he is'nt a winger but i'm just saying

He's probably been pushing himself too hard to try and impress Rafa, he played the end of the season, went pretty much straight to the asia cup, left that to meet up with the squad in the asia trophy, then has probably been going flat out to prove himself. I'd wager he'll play in the second leg.

If he is injured again then his career with us is over.

I thought this could be a decent season for him, but clearly he's had it.

By the time he gets back into it Babel will have cemented his place in the team, and Leto will be pushing for selection

that does seem the way it will go. Shame, Kewell is a talented player who could have been a great for us. Shame, the injuries have taken a savage toll on him.
