Good luck to Pongo if he's gone there - the experience will do him good, and joining a promoted side will increase his chances of regular first team footiball in a tough league.

I'll be sad to see Flo go.

Hope he comes back and becomes a success...he's got a better attitude than his cousin.

according to ssn its just a 1 year loan deal. no chance of them buying him after a year. I hope so, as I still think this lad could make it here

I suppose with Dirk, God, RoboCrouch and Bellers, not to mention Lil' Louis and Harry who can also play up there - we are well coverd in these positions. He wouldn't get a sniff with us but if he can get it together on loan then we have nothing to loose. Good work by the club.
                Fair play!!!

                  From Yahoo News

                  Recreativo sign French striker Sinama-Pongolle

MADRID, Aug 30 (Reuters) - Liverpool's French striker Florent Sinama-Pongolle has agreed to sign a one-year deal with Recreativo Huelva, the Primera Liga side said on Wednesday.

The Under-21 international, who joined Liverpool from Le Havre in 2003, played on loan at Blackburn Rovers for the second half of last season.

Recreativo were promoted to the top flight for only the third time in their history when they topped the standings in the second division last season.
"In fact I’m going to make a promise which will be welcomed by many. If there’s no finance secured by the opening day of the season, I’m going to hang up my keyboard and close KOPTALK down." - Duncan Oldham, Expert Conman. March 29th 2006

I think he will be back next season, would doubt if this deportiva Heluva or whoever they are will do well if they are signing midfield players like Diao.

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

hate to see pongo go, love him to bits, GH should have played him more regularly, to get him up to speed, but like many other thing s he did wrong or didn't do at all...

thank you for everything FSP, and good luck...

Pongolle. He's got "goal" in his name.

Remember how excited everyone was when they both signed?

The only chance I can see him back is to take Robbie's place when he retires.

Personally, I hope it works out for the kid. He had some nice touches, and worked hard for us. He will develop into a very good player indeed i think.
