He will take some time to settle in but he is very quick off the mark and his positioning was quite good in the first half when he was interchanging with Yossi. After the break he took his foot off the gas, in fairness I think he may have been suffering from a knock he took. When Jar came on he looked lost on the right.
What I like about this guy is how direct he is. When in possession he looks to run at defenders and/or take up a goal scoring position. He also doesn't really waste possession when a team mate is in a better position to shoot. Good awareness for a young fella. For some reason we seem to lack players who are direct and brave enough to take on a shot.
He has the class to develope, but let's not forget he is only 20.Comment

arbeloa played well, no idea why we're in for heinze. if we need a centre back we should buy one but not a left back that can also play cb.
voronin will do well, very clever player. crouch didn't get the supply nor does he seem happy. He'll have to improve else he's 4th choice and i'm a fan.
yossi and babel were crap, especially yossi, no way will either start on Sunday.
Masch and gerrard were really strong in the middle and i can see more of that partnership in away games being used.
Still worried about our lack of ability to break teams down, but for now bring on the chavs!Comment
