Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I will get in touch with the club shop.

I have nothing against Carlsberg in particular, I just prefer shirts without sponsor's names.

Let us know how you get on please - I am also interested in getting a non-sponsor shirt. Thanks.

True enough mate. I love the look of our shirt without the sponsor, unfortuantely it looks more like a training top than a kit because we are so used to seeing our kit with Carlsberg on it.

I'm not really convinced Carlsberg is the right sponsor for us going forward. They tried to shaft us back in 2005 before the CL final didn't they? And I am guessing this may partially be behind the shortage of kits and dispute with Reebok?

I'm also not much for superstition but may be it's because we've had such limited success in the Carlsberg kit over the years and I long for the Candy and Crown Paint days. We've had it on our shirts for 15 years, but for me Carlsberg on a football shirt will always be synonymous with Wimbledon beating us in the FA Cup Final in 1988.

I don't know. for all their "Probably" bollocks they've sponsored Wimbledon, Hibs, and other no mark clubs.

most shirts on ebay are dodgy knock-offs or seconds from malaysia or hong kong. you pay almost full price and when you get it, the fit is weird or it starts to unravel at the seams. i've been burned before ... never again.

i would assume that, as part of our deal with carlsberg, that the club is only allowed produce and sell a limited number of shirts without the branding on it. your best bet may be, as a previous poster mentioned, finding a legit outlet in a muslim country but even then it's questionable.

surely the laws only apply to the kit worn by the players and shown on tv, and doesn't extend to those sold in stores for the general public?

i like the last suggestion, have them printed with "probably" on the front instead of carlsberg like what the jordan team did in F1 when they were sponsored by benson & hedges.
when things go wrong, don't walk away.
                              that'll only make it harder.
