Hammill has signed a new three year deal

Skysports.com understands Liverpool starlet Adam Hammill has signed a new deal at Anfield.

The skilful winger, who is on a season-long loan at Southampton, inked a new three-year contract before making the move to St Mary's.

The 19-year-old is highly-regarded at Anfield and he is tipped for a big future in the game.

Hammill admitted he was delighted to sort out his long-term future and has set his sights on breaking into Rafa Benitez's first-team squad.

    Delight
"I signed a three-year deal at Liverpool earlier in the summer," Hammill told skysports.com.

"The deal keeps me at Anfield until 2011 and I am delighted about that.

"I am a life-long Liverpool fan and it is my dream to play in the first team."

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Rafa must think he has a chance to make it then.

He certainly feels that his market value is increasing and that he can pocket a nice fee for him if he continues to do well on his loan spells.

        Good news.

My Southampton supporting mate reckons he's looked pretty good in his couple of appearances so far.
What have I learned, Mr Mackay? Three things. One - bide your time. Two - keep your nose clean. And three - don't let the *******s grind you down

I reckon he could be a really good squad player for us, covering both flanks.

IF he has a chance, he needs an excellent season for Southampton and then needs to start playing the odd game on the flanks for us next year - otherwise forget it.

If Kewell is out long-term might be an idea to recall him.

Leto and Babel is more than enough to cope in the great man's absence.

But which one of them will limp off if we get to a final?
