could agree anymore, talk is cheap, get the result first and foremost, need to rise above this sort of stuff.Originally posted by Red_Al_77 View PostTalk is cheap. We will have egg on our face if it all goes wrong on Sunday. Talking should be done with the quality of your football. Jose would be more riled if he didn't get a reaction from Rafa.

I agree and wish that Rafa would do his talking after we beat them BUT if we get the win and his comments have helped in some small way then fair enough I suppose.Originally posted by Parm View Postcould agree anymore, talk is cheap, get the result first and foremost, need to rise above this sort of stuff.
The unfortunate part about mangers mouthing off is that the opposition fans give it back 10 fold if they manage to get the win. That's when you wish that they had shut their mouths. The Chav fans have been fortunate that their team has enjoyed success and therefore escaped ridicule from opposition fans. Their time will come and hopefully starting at Anfield today!

I like us raising the stakes with this kind of talk, as long as it isn't too disrespectful. Yes, we'll look pretty daft if they stuff us, but if we do play well and win, it adds to the psychological affect. It says that we're confident. Misplaced confidence (a la Spurs) does more harm than good, but we need confidence, and to show it. A confident team who are winning are title contenders.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Thank you Rafa or who is to thank for us not buying that ****hole.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
