    Insiders

    I know there are people who like to pretend to be insiders and I have often heard the comment that there are no insiders really. However, I have to say that virtually every major target over the past year has been announced on the net forums before the press picked it up. Alves, Fowler, Kuyt, Bellamy, Agger, Gonzales, Pennant and now Lucas Neill...every one was on the boards before anyone in the press picked up. Pennant was called back in January, Fowler a month before it happened!

    So I know you take some stick on these boards from time to time but I would like to say genuine insiders....I salute you!! Thanks for the info

      I will also agree with the first poster.the forums,boards whatever you want to call them are pretty quick at picking up the transfers

        its true it does but as marley1 says, there is alot of crap, but i would say these places are right 75% of the time!

            Couldn't you use a different term? "Insider" seems somehow....tainted...

              I think your ok as long as you stay away from insiders with names such as The Informer, The Wallet, The Horse and Dunk. Oh and Whitters, FACT!

                I would say 80% of it's bull**** to be honest and then you get the odd few that know the odd thing
                I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

                    was talking about this today and most of the papers at one point or another have had us linked with the player before they signed and that none of them have exactly come as a surprise

                      But all the same some people post in good faith and then get slated when it's wrong. YOu're stickin your head above the parapet when you post some insider information on these forums.

                        Theres only 2 people that i'm aware of on the web and forums that actually manage to pass on various pieces of news be it transfer or team selection to those 2 a massive thanks for all that they are able to share I'm sure that theres no need to mention there names as many others will also know who they are. needless to say Dunk is not one of them

                          Agreed. And I have nothing against people like them. It is Duncan Oldham I have a problem with making up blatantly bull**** stories and insider claims to make money for himself.

                          The only so called "insider" that has impressed me is Elisha_Scott of ynwa. But the others, as much as they get things wrong, does it in good faith. So I have no objections and I'm quite happy for them to continue to post (for us!) snippets of information.
