I know there are people who like to pretend to be insiders and I have often heard the comment that there are no insiders really. However, I have to say that virtually every major target over the past year has been announced on the net forums before the press picked it up. Alves, Fowler, Kuyt, Bellamy, Agger, Gonzales, Pennant and now Lucas Neill...every one was on the boards before anyone in the press picked up. Pennant was called back in January, Fowler a month before it happened!

So I know you take some stick on these boards from time to time but I would like to say genuine insiders....I salute you!! Thanks for the info

I said Pongolle will be loaned to Huelva before anyone on every LFC forums(I checked EST,TalkLFC, TLW, SixCM, RAWK and Bascombe article on the web came after me)...News come from official sources and are then divulgated. If you check carefully the serious sources(not too dificult to know who they are), you'll know the rumours exactly at the same time as "insiders". I heard about Kuyt to LFC in january 2005 from a dutch friend...

There are no Insiders in forums.

Theres only 2 people that i'm aware of on the web and forums that actually manage to pass on various pieces of news be it transfer or team selection to those 2 a massive thanks for all that they are able to share I'm sure that theres no need to mention there names as many others will also know who they are. needless to say Dunk is not one of them

I don't think Aimar was ever a target for Benitez this summer.

Nothing against Johnny H. I'm just saying, from what I have seen, that he hasn't impressed me as much as Elisha Scott (who is the obvious standout). But I don't mind him providing us with snippets of 'inside' information.

The only problem I have is with Duncan Oldham and his collection of aliases...

But all the same some people post in good faith and then get slated when it's wrong. YOu're stickin your head above the parapet when you post some insider information on these forums.

such a good point,many used to post in good faith and may have been slipped a red herring on purpose. Unfortunately those that required the limelight by bull****ting spoilt it for many.

but think of the type of players we are talking about. I don't reckon anyone would have guessed at Pennant, Neill, Fowler or Kuyt beforehand if they didn't know something. They are not the players that we would have expected. IMO when people pluck names out of the air they pick star names, unavailables really. Let say Torres, and when it doesn;t happen then we can say the money was an issue etc etc

the pennant and kuty thing were in the papers before people had so called insider knowledge pennant was linked as soon as city went down and kuyt has been mentioned for over a year now, as with fowler that was a surprise and i don`t think anyone had mentioned it until the day before the neill thing had only been mentioned in the last week or so and i dunno if anyone had called that before the papers got hold of it
