I honestly don't think Aimar was ever an option for Rafa this summer. After all, Zaragoza only paid Valencia 6 million pounds for the winger - Aimar was clearly affordable even with the 'financial constraints' we were under.

I don't think so, Johnny didn't used to post before Rafa took over, certainly not in the Insider sections.

He named his source and he was not involved with Houllier, he was nearer to Rick Parry apparently

No-one can go from (almost) 100% reliable under Rafa to essentially getting 1 out of 4 in the space of a year.

I hate being secretive about it, but as G-Man said he was fed up with people doubting it so one day he posted his source and how he was linked to him (think it's a bosses' boss). He doesn't see him that often I believe.

Anyway, suffice to say it was about as good as it gets, so given Johnny H still posts now and again it's probably best not to say it

Johnny was the only person on the net as far as I'm aware, to hint at the Josemi signing. He mentioned a defender at Malaga. Day(s) later Josemi signed. OK he didn't name him but he knew about it.
