he named his source through naivity in one of his 1st couple of posts which the fat con man quickly removed.

when he tantalised all kt with some mystery info (which turned out - allegedly - to be talks with beckham) he got spooked because people were checking the list to see if he was logged-on. after that he posted intermittently often only in the gold club

Yes, that's how I remember it. (Though possibly 04 given I joined in May 04)

Johnny was the only person on the net as far as I'm aware, to hint at the Josemi signing. He mentioned a defender at Malaga. Day(s) later Josemi signed. OK he didn't name him but he knew about it.

H is THE ABSOLUTE BEST insider on kt since he came..bar none and by a mile..

he NEVER bull****s and gives his info as recieved often with explanatory context.

he aint 100% in the sense that the transfers go through but If he says were after someone - we are

beckham is the perfect example.

I was and am 100% certain hell NEVER join lfc but i also believe 100% that we were negotiating with his people

Correct apart from the year...I thought he turned up the summer of 2004. I remember his first post and the sheer chaos everytime he logged on. It was like a mad house downstairs. People were actually starting threads like 'Johnny H has just logged on'. People were losing the plot.

Johnny H definitely had an inside track as to what was going on at Anfield but I think alot of people lost a little faith in his source when Anelka didn't sign.

I still think he's one of the best insiders around, along with Elisha and Lecter.

I'm sure he's said his boss doesn't get that much info anymore and also Johnny has had a fair few family problems in the last 12 months which has meant maybe some time away from work, or maybe just lack of enthusiasm for LFC transfers.
Everytime he turned up everyone asked if he'd heard anything, he must have got fed up sometimes considering his personal problems. Maybe sometimes he posted things which were only faint possibilities but because of the clamour for news he posted them as definites.
All guess work on my part.

Actually this is starting to make sense : I was aware of Johnny H's 'reputation' when I joined, and then that summer (2004) he got so much abuse/doubters he posted his source for the first time (and it was quickly deleted)

Must be right, otherwise other people who had already seen the source in 2003 would have stuck up for him more

Yeah, very possible. Wouldn't be the first time he posted a faint possibility as a certainty and it came true

I prefer my 'he's been rumbled' conspiracy theory though
