I've been told to stay away from the bulldog cafe's when I go over but from what I've heard they aren't a bad option to watch the football in cause they're generally English filled. Apart from that I can't offer much more help- hope it might be of some use

Either there or the Grasshopper, which is half way btwn Central Station and the epi centre of the Dam. Whilst living there over the last four years I have noticed a big rise in Liverpool supporting cloggies esp in recent times. Either way it is most likely you will not encounter any problems, no matter where you watch an English game in the Dam. The trouble usually only kicks off when the Dutch team play each other. The sports cafe in Leidseplein is probably the best option. They bring to your seat, where you will have table/chair service for the duration of your stay.
