Haven't thought much about the match yet, strange! So not nervous or anything yet but I'm sure it'll come.

Gonna swap places with my daughter now, she can have the PC and I'll have the telly to watch SSN so the build up can begin!

I'm going for LFC win 2-0 Torres and Babbel.
No, no, no.........I'm only scary 'cause I'm hairy

Big year for me 2008, hope it all goes well for me, oh, and you lot too!

My football wishes for today in order of preference:
              1. 3 points for LFC
              2. SCUM to drop points at Citeh
              3. Torres to score at anfield
              4. Arsenal to drop points at Blackburn
              5. Gary neville to get sent off/score an own goal.
              6. Tevez to get sent off

I'd love Torres to score today, he needs one to get him going at Anfield

I'm ****ting myself and I don't know why?! Its not like me to get nervous before games at all, but I think its because I feel a lots riding on today in terms of our development and whether we can put together a real title challenge, or whether its just another false dawn.

I know its only one game and there's a long way to go, but I think were going to learn a lot from todays game.

Couldn't agree more. Goal at Anfield for Torres would set him up for a fantastic season.

You can just image the tabloid journalists sharpening their word processors in anticipation of Torres not scoring any time soon.

Apparently Momo, Yossi and Voronin aren't involved at all today and Gerrard might start on the wing.

I thought Gerrard would play on the wing, for a number of reasons:
                      1) we need quality balls from the right
                      2) he'd be a target for that **** Essien (and Lampturd) in the centre. If his fracture is hairline now, it'll be complex after a few minutes in the centre against Essien.
                      3) The threat will keep A.Cole quiet.
                      4) Mascherano is fit and makes a good partnership with Xabi.

Dissappointed that the CROW isn't in the squad, he's a match winner.
As for Yossi, I've always maintained he's the player to break down those ****ty teams who we are struggling with, like Everton, Bolton, Blackburn and Boro. Momo isn't in because Mascherano is.

Interesting! Where did you get that from mate?

So that's Babbel/Riise, Mascher, Alonso and Gerrard in midfield with Torres and Crouch/Kuyt up front.
