I feel a new favourite player coming on.
****ing love what I've seen so far. He's the complete striker. Pace to ****ing burn, great touch, skill, superb movement (his movement really reminds me of Fowler) and, most pleasingly, he's strong and he fights for everything. I loved how he didn't let that slitty-eyed cockney chav **** Terry bully him. He's a fighter.
The importance of a new striker scoring on his home debut can't be overplayed - it's massive and it's set him up perfectly for us. He'll score at Sunderland next week and I predict he's gonna be an absolute ****ing superstar for us. He can be anything he wants to be and we could have the Prem's next Henry-esque 'superstar striker' on our hands.
Not that I wanna put any pressure on him or anything.

Not only has he got the Rafa mentality of being hard working & commited, he's also a quality, quality striker.

torres was brilliant today...always a threat with the ball. you could always see 2 or sometimes 3 players defending him.slowed down towards the end of the game but that shouldnt be a problem once the lad gets his fitness up.well done fernando torresComment
