Thoughts on the Season ahead
Well lads we are moving into the 3rd week of August and I have to say I like the way things are shaping up already. In the premiership we have played attacking, incredibly solid football. Our new signings all look like immense quality. In Torres I think we have finally found a striker worthy of the Number 9. I have been really blown away by the sheer power of the lad. For me he is like a thorough breed race horse , powerful and extremely fast. He has that confidence you really need if you want to be a truly great striker and his footballing brain is exceptional. He causes a lot of problems and they way he brushed past Chelsea like they were not even there was impressive.
Right across the team we have class, solid physical players who can also mix it up creatively. 4 top class strikers, Best Mid Field in the Lg, Best Defense in the Lg Best Goal Keeper in the Lg there is no reason why we should not win the Lg this year. I think it will all boil down to service, how much of it our strikers will get because especially Torres, give him the ball anywhere on the field and he is dangerous. The crow also has impressed me a lot . I think Kuyt has come in for a lot of unfair criticism already, usually from people who don’t go to games and a lot because of the role he is fulfilling for the team. But that’s a matter of opinion at the end of the day.
Looking good for the champions Lg, massive squad of quality players, a feeling that there is genuine believe in the camp that we can go all the way in the lg and all 3 of our rivals having less than convincing starts …. Chelsea will get theres soon there are only so many get out of jail cards free in the deck
Arebeloa also looks class and a lot stronger this season and finally if we get Gabby today … Boy of Boy … what a defense and what a kick in the face for the Scum … Pennant continues to impress me, exceptional movement great service, mixing it up all the time, sometimes first ball in somethings cut backs .. he has been just brilliant and continues to shine. Its about time he starts to get the applauds and praise he deserves .. he has been very very consistent for quite some time now. That’s two games in a row were we have been given dubious penalties against us, there are only so many dodgy decisions you can get against you. For me its been two clean sheets, two attacking performances and it really obvious we have so many tools in the box now to win any game home or away, Domestic or European. But all that said, can you believe it….. Fernando Torres wears the Liverpool Number 9 …Unbelievable

I really think we can do it this season… and that’s not positive thinking I honestly think we have the right stuff this Season
