Oh I see they have done away with paper tickets for league games?
Lawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"

Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"

Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"

No - as I understand it, the swipe thingy has just been introduced for PTS (as it was for ST before). As far as I am aware, with the 'standard' fancards, you still get a paper ticket (there was a guy with one behind me yesterday).

I'm in the PTS. I was told to take my letter and fancard to the turnstile. However, they didn't bother looking at the letter and I just had to swipe my fancard.

My ma and pa also went. To test the system, my dad swiped my mum's fancard and vice versa. Nothing was said.

So, looks like they don't check that you are the fancard holder.

Oi t'ought 'e wuz Oirish bein' a man o' da bog?

We used our fancards to get into the Lower Kremlyn last season and I think they were used in the Main Stand and Paddock the season before so I can't see what the fuss is...

think the idea to take the letter was to know where you were sat and if there was any problems with seating.

Probably, but as all Liverpool fans know the 'Kremlyn' was the nickname for the Kemlyn Road Stand which was re-developed 15 years ago for the club's centenary and hence is now split into the Lower and Upper Centenary Stands...

Had to think about that before I posted and guessed wrongly that it was a typo.

Oh well one more Liverpool fan is in the know now

I watched in the Kop yesterday on my mates wifes fancard and letter. They didn't look at either, which is lucky considering I have no tits
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

Was actually at a couple of games with my old man before they knocked it but never sat in it before it became the Centenary.

The letter tells you where you are sitting. Its not checked for names and addresses. It also tells you which turnstile to go to, its also the only turnstile that card will work. You need both as one without the other wont or atleast shouldnt be allowed in.
