    Arbeloa

i reckon we have a true gem in this lad, comfortable on the ball great going forward he has only played a dozen times in the premiership.

Looks comfortable as a left back and will be finnans replacement long term as well.

Looking a good swap for JosemI!

Agreed. He looks much better and more comfortable at LB than he does at RB.

I thought he was excellent. Up there with SG for man of the match.

        He look an absolute bargain.

I wasn't sure that he would be comfortable playing at left back but he was very assured today.
Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

Very impressed with this lad. Looking like a real find.

Absolutely superb today, really like this lad.

We haven't even seen him in his best position yet!

If Arbeloa was English he would be valued at about 10 million I think.

Love the lad, great on the ball, fast etc. but what I like most about him is a) he seems to laugh (+make me laugh) a lot lol b) he winds the opposition up nicely hehe!

He's one of those who fans of other clubs seem to pay no attention to and just assume he's ****. I've lost count of the number of times I've heard opposition fans dismiss him as some kind Josemi-esque, Carlos Kickaball type weak-link.

                    Bollocks.

A very shrewd buy. Silky but robust, assured, strong and confident.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Well said mate, he had a very good game in my opinion and with a regular run in the team, could turn out to be a bargain signing by Rafa

Arbeloa seems to have perfected the art of chipping the ball when the opposition comes in for a tackle from behind.Chip the ball,Jump mildly make sure there is contact, fall down.Yellow card for Essien.I think this is the third time I have seen it happen.
Didn,t he do it in the Nou Camp also.
