BTW - if that was a lame message meant to 'hurt' us, how misjudged was their 'You Let Your Country Down' jibe at JC? Nothing emphasises the gap between their chavvy, white van man, talksport, little Ingerlunder mentality and our values and pride in our club than the fact that they somehow believe that we would be irked by that - fwiw, I took it as a compliment! There was a token response of 'We're Scouse, not English', but to be honest, I think we were gobsmacked that they are so ignorant, and couldn't be arsed to enlighten the neanderthals.
