If there is even the tiniest shred of credability to the tale no wonder Heinze's appeal failed. I just imagine his legal team sitting around going, 'I know who's a credible rival bidder ....'. I expect to see their fox like cunning employed by Ridsdale at some point this season.

Rafa always dealt with things in a dignified manner but this time am not so sure. Just concentrate on winnin' matches and forget about Heinze man.

too ****in right redscouser. we want rafa to do the impossible and take on the ludicrously paranoid/amoral psyche of mourinho, the violent, abusive and drunken outbursts of ferguson and the petulant stubborness of wenger? rafa should be his own man with his own approach. i doubt he won la liga twice by maintaining that valencia were picked on and bullied by the "bigger boys and the teachers".

we should win despite odds with a dignity that speaks louder than any ****in paranoid outbursts. i think half of us don't even know what we are talking about at this stage. giving out is going to overturn the decision on heinze? it gives us some sort of advantage? how? we want our manager to do the same things we despise in others like mourinho? did bob paisley need to do this? did he ****. keep it for the dressing room. the manager shoudn't be like the fans. mourinho, ferguson and wenger have this paranoia as part of their personalities. it is not the reason why they have been successful. it is just part of how they are and it manifests itself in various ways. when i see rafa throwing the head like this i think one of 3 things:

      1. he ****ed up and is annoyed.
      2. an outburst based on disappointment
      3. the pressure is getting to him

not "yes!!! here comes no.19 because we're all paranoid now!!

I don`t think it`s a coinincedence that all three have won the PL.

If you can`t beat them join them.

if we can beat them, it won't be through complaining. rafa also win la liga twice and the champion's league. let those 3 ******s snipe, bitch and moan. we don't have to be the same to bring success. their success is down to their football abilities. there's plenty of failed complaining bitter paranoid mamagers out there who haven't won ****.

If he doesn`t apply heat on the FA when they rule ridiculously against us then nothing will change. You have to give out against any injustice against you.Meekly sucking it in will not help the situation.

but it can't help - heinze is a madrid player now. and when is a similar situation likely to happen? we'd be some fools to go down that route with another player.

It can, maybe they`ll treat us differently if they think he`ll kick up a fuss everytime he feels we`ve been unjustly treated.

fair enough but if the only unjust treatments - subsequent to this - we have to moan about are early kickoffs then i won't be joining in. "adversity" in sport is supposed to make you resilient, not just another spoilt whinger.

As for Masher, it seems to me we got him a damn sight easier than the Mancs got Tevez.
It took us over a month to get the papers and United got them after a day or two.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

maybe he's always been like this during his days in spain and now that he's got hold of the league, the press and last but not least the language, he feels finally free to express himself...

England have four midweek games coming up. In every case LFC play a lunch time kick off on the Saturday. It might just be inconvenience to us, but that few hours difference means a lot to the preparation of footballers.

We've been taking it up the arse from the PL et al for a decade, while the Mancs - and now the Chavs - have got preferential treatment in numerous ways.

With the money, corruption and favouritism in the modern game the time is well past for keeping our mouths shut and taking whatever is thrown at us.

As for the Heinze thing, its wrapped in legal jargon, but the Premier League panel (****ing cheek calling it a panel, it was the head of the PL plus one bloke) chose to take the word of Gill and Taggart over a black and white letter in front of them. No wonder Rafa is upset about it.

The bottom line is, one of the Manc players (their captain in his last Prem game for them end of last term) took them to arbitration because he wanted to play for LFC. Can't help but be happy with that.

That's complete bollocks mate. The fundamental issue that everyone ignores is that an 'agreement to agree' is not legally binding under UK law. No such agreement in whatever form (a letter/taped conversation in this case) is enforceable. This was a clear case of an agreement to agree. Case closed, end of, black and white.

Agreement to agree could mean two things.

It could mean that United must accept if a club offers £6.5m and it could also mean that the agent must ask United after a club offered £6.5m.

In the first way the agreement stands for United and agree for the agents and in the second the other way around.
