I'm not sure about that. Previously Rafa has talked about the utility of the 'b' teams being in the league in Spain, presumably this means the leagues they play in (such as the Secunda Division) are at a standard where players will be able to learn their trade. Without a feeder team or a 'b' team in a competetive division we need to find teams with good coaches at a decent level but where the squad is not so strong that a young player might struggle to get into the team. It is not always ability that decides if a player will egt in a team especially when on loan so it may be more useful for us to have a plyer loaned out to a lower level.

Totally agree mate, I have always been of the opinion if a foreign player needs to integrate into a new envoirnment with a new language though then it is counter-productive sending him back to the country he came from

Fair point regarding the quality of the coaches though, better to play in a footballing side than kickers in the Championship. Makes you wonder why our link up with Crewe didn't work out though, would have been an ideal club to feed our young players to and to monitor their progress
