    If he plays, I think he might come on. I think Rafa will use Momo as the player to break the play and bring it out of defence and play somewhat behind the strikers (his natural role). I don't think Rafa will use two holding players ala Jefe and Xabi for the mere fact he wants us to destroy them and this is the match where we need to send a signal to the Prem after we were robbed on Sunday.

      Yeah but Xabi isn't really a proper holding player.

        Did Xabi play in midweek? That should give a clear indication of whether he plays or not

            I'm pumped up lads, lets tear into em.
            We SHOULD beat them but i'm a bit unsure tbh, in saying that if a good 5 or 6of our players perform, we'll beat them.
            I wonder what them Sky Sports bastids will say if we do beat them and put in a good performance without Gerrard, eh? I love Gerrard but by christ Keys and co don't have rip the piss in terms of talking about him

              Christ, I think Rafa's selection could be an interesting one tomorrow.

              Factors are that Gerrard will be out, Babel is on form, Pennant has been subbed the last two games, Benayoun has been missing from the first two PL matches, midweek internationals etc. Plus Sunderland are going to be ****ing rough and ugly to watch (ala Sheff Utd last year away). I would guess the team could/will be;

              Reina
              Finnan Carragher Hyypia Riise
              Benayoun Mascherano Alonso Babel
              Torres Voronin

              Subs;
              Itanje
              Crouch
              Agger
              Sissoko
              Arbeloa/Lucas/Pennant

              **** knows though, trying to second guess Rafa

              On a different note, I've got a lot of respect for Keane as a manager, even more so after his comments today. Still want to ****ing spank the ***** though.

                We HAVE to win tomorrow.

                Dropping points would be criminal, I think the other 'big three' will win easily this weekend.

                    Sol playing in front of me helps me a lot to be honest, gives me so much confidence.

                    Hopefully I get the nod for England soon too.

                        We are probably the safest winners out of the big four. Man U will be pressured by the fact that they must win against Spurs, a point isn't good enough and that will leave gaps at the back.

                        Arsenal will be without Gallas and that is a huge blow for them and you never know what Sven will have up his sleeve against Arsenals all out attack. Chelsea hasn't played that good so far and Portsmouth may be able to get a point.
                        Just believe and you never know what will happen.

                        According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                          Is Van der sar still injured after Kuyt took him out in Dutch training.?

                          Jol has to win this game or he could lose his job and ManU are missing key players.Wouldn`t be surprised if we are the only team from the "Top 4" to win this weekend.

                            Crouch isnt even in the squad according to Elisha Scott. Still, we're going to have to get used to big names being left out and if they dont like it then do one. Though i'd be gutted if Crouchy was to go.

                              Crouch not even in the squad?????

                              If that's the case then it's writing on the wall for him (sadly)
