If you watch it again though mate its not disrespectful or nothing. Its just a "passionate" **** off. I think rafa knows jamie was just upset that by staying on the needless extra few minutes he might miss an extra game or summat.

Rafa was clever and just backed off immediately so as not to make a deal. well, that and the fact he shat himself

Crossed my mind today that Rafa might be more vocal because of the new owners. It seemed to me that David Moores seemed to like to keep things under wraps, didn't like to stir trouble and liked to keep things in house. Maybe just a coincidence but Rafa seems to be a lot more vocal since we have been taken over.

I like the level he is at at the mo. No Moaninihio or Fergalscum, but saying enough to point out the facts.

Particularly like the "Little Red Riding Hood" comment.
        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Was watching the game live earlier, though he did.
Watching it again there on MOTD and i'm convinced he did.

I thought he was complaining to the official. I might well be wrong.

Even if it was Rafa, it's no big deal. A misunderstanding... and he was in a bit of discomfort!

Nonsense. Carra is special, he is the heart and soul of the club. He was just showing some passion and Rafa knows that. He screams at everybody, and everyone accepts him for being the passionate guy he is

It was a funny incident and Rafa is intelligent enough to know when to make a deal out of something.

why did you feel it necessary to say that? i think you need to get your arse over to the good looking players thread. there's an atmosphere something akin to a victorian all boys boarding school in there. lots of unrequited homerotic fantasies and declarations of ubermasculinity.

Its unbeleebable the amount we have gone through and come about since he took over. What a **** team we had then and now we look like a real outfit

We now have players like Lucas, a Brazilian national team player, Insua, the best defender in this summers U20 WC, Leto, Kewell and Aurelio who hasn't played yet this season.

Rafa really is spoilt for Choices now. We have the best squad depth in the league without any doubt at all.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

He seems to have the bit between his teeth, really motivated and i think he know actually believes he has a team that can win the league, which he didnt have the last few seasons.

                        I'd go along with that.

We have better players than them on the bench and in the stands.
