i'd like to sse that, and with leto and lucas on the bench, see if we can give the 30 minutes..."I have decided to escape, to defy the shogun. Today I will begin walking the road to hell. But you will choose your own path. So, soon you may be seeing heaven. Choose the sword, and you will join me. Choose the ball and you join your mother, in death. You don’t understand my words, but you must choose. So… come boy, choose life or death."

That's probably the team i'd expect to see, depending on how bad Hyypia's injury is, otherwise Arbeloa left back and riise to push up. Also Kewell should be available for this match assuming his recovery went as planed, but he'll probably be left until next weekendOriginally posted by anfieldanfield View PostRight, so looks as though Sami will miss out too....
--------Crouch--Kuyt
Babel-----------------Benayoun
-----Sissoko---Mascher
Riise--Agger---Arbeloa--Finnan
-----------Reina
There's more than enough quality in that side to win the game comfortably.....Thomas Hicks Senior

I agree with that statement we need to start with our strongest team possible build a lead and then change it.Originally posted by Bob View PostYou cannae play a kid in a game worth 10m+ and his home debut to boot. not from the start anyway... that's crazy talk.
It's a night for old heads and professionalism.

Remember we haven't done well at home in the qualifiers over the last few years.

seriously mate, i'll be glad to see the back of him and his seriously over paid wages too. tbh, we've only seen glimpses of what he can do then the ibjury curse takes over leaving him and us very fustrated

well i'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt for the time being, a thigh tear is minor and is probably the result of playing constantly over the summer when his body hasn't been used to itOriginally posted by thekop View PostKewell fit, are u avin a laugh

I think Crouch will play because we will need him to take care of Elmander at set pieces. Kuyt was rested against Sunderland so he will probably play.
If Kewell is fit then I would play him instead of Babel.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I have to say I have supported Kewell and really thought he would play a part for us this year, but I get the feeling the lad ain't never gonna play more than 10 games in a row without then being out injured for 4-5 games.Originally posted by Morphorino View Postwell i'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt for the time being, a thigh tear is minor and is probably the result of playing constantly over the summer when his body hasn't been used to it
I hope I'm wrong but at this stage I only see him as a bit part player maybe being brought on as an impact sub.
I seriously hope I'm wrong we'll wait and see.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see this side run out but if Sami is fit, I would use him and leave Arbeloa on the bench. I'd give Torres the night off to rest up as he looked to tire on Sat. Babel will improve with game time and a good game to let him play with Riise. 2-0 to usOriginally posted by AFII View Post-----------------Reina

I suspect that could be the team, with Sami playing instead of Alvaro.Originally posted by AFII View Post-----------------Reina

From the Offal:
http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drill...70827-1502.htmOriginally posted by The OffalSami Hyypia is fit to play, however, after breaking his nose at the Stadium of Light.
"I think he will be okay," added Benitez. "The break was in the right place and so I don't think it will be a problem for him.
"We have Sami and Daniel Agger available and we can also use Arbeloa as a centre back so we have enough players in that position."
