    Starting to believe?

Well three games gone and two away victories. Only a hotly disputed penalty has stopped us making the perfect start.

The squad depth is now very impressive and all the players look to have started in fine form. Of the new buys Torres looks top quality and Voronin may be the steal of the season proving Rafa can pick a player.

So are you starting to believe we can win the league this season. After today I am

Yes actually, but definitely not getting carried away. Good professional performances so far.

Nice to see the scum under pressure for a change.

It would be ****ing fantastic if Tottenham can pull off a win at the swamp tomorrow, with a backs to the wall performance with everyone all psyched up for it after the week they've had.

Totally agree with Al. I'm buzzing. There's just something 'different' this season. A greater resolve, more belief and more quality. Torres has given us a completely new dimension.

Although I wouldn't say a "hotly disputed" pen has robbed us of a perfect start. "A ****ing ridiculous non-penalty" is about right. Nevertheless, it's been a great start and so refreshing too.

            Long may it continue.

It's the fact that others in the media are starting to believe which i'm finding pleasing.

Wondrous sight to see Mancs down there. Hope Spurs turn them over tomorrow, then the pressure will definitely be on.

              Good stuff all round.

I think it's not totally out of the question. Jol has the players on his side and they might want to show him their backing by putting in an extra effort.

Al mate I believed before pre-season mate and the reason being, all our major players re-signed they all had a good rest over the summer and we knew Rafa would buy quality players to add more ability to our attacking play.

Rafa has also spoken about approaching games differently and going for the wins, I believe he has done this because he has finally got the team/squad he is confident can do the job.

Also the determination now shown my most of the team especially Stevie G says to me that we are really up for it.
I had predicted that Stevie and Xabi would not be as lethargic as they were last year and you can see that from the off.

The competition for places a full pre-season with nearly all of the players together and the likes of Pennant and Kuyt who have started their 2nd seasons really well.

No.19 is coming home Stevie has it in his sights watch how he'll perform this season I think we'll all be surprised the levels he will get to in the league.

We certainly seem to have a more talented squad than last season. Torres is showing he is worth every penny so far and Voronin has been a class act since he joined.

We have so far turned our away form around which cost us dearly last season, especially against the teams you expect to beat but we often managed the 1 point against last season.

I am optimistic but there is a long way to go and no doubt we will soon be on that roller coaster ride again!

Spurs could easily get a draw there tomorrow. Their record at OT is shocking (as at WHL) and the law averages at least suggests something has to give sooner or later.

United couldn't score in a brothel at the moment and they look a bit imbalanced. A draw would be a fantastic result. This five point lead over them at the moment has virtually been handed to us on a plate.

A little premature. Give us another 7 games and then we'll see.

Every August for the past few years its been "will we sign a decent player before the window closes?" yet still people wanted us to go on and win the league. This year we've signed Torres(world class), Babel(fantastic prospect), Voronin(deal of the century!) and Benayoun(not too shabby). However this year I dont think people have been bigging up our chances so for these reasons I am the more optomistic for this season than Ive ever been.
