There's one massive difference this season, and one slightly smaller one.
The big difference: Fernando Torres. He's got everything we need in a centre forward.
Also Stevie G playing in central midfield. It just makes us more aggresive and attack minded, which we'll need to be.
Only downside is that the chavs and the arse have been a bit spawny.
Oh, and c'mon Spurs. Without the inbred and the ponce the scum look a bit toothless.I hate Polanski

I'm already getting slightly sick of Arsenal scoring late goals at home to bail them out of the ****. They did it almost incessantly last season and it's carried on this.Originally posted by CharlieMansonsSquint View Post

I said that last year, also Giggs and Scholes played exceptionally well last season can't see them hitting the same levels/remaining injury free this time round.Originally posted by CharlieMansonsSquint View PostThere's one massive difference this season, and one slightly smaller one.

i'm the kind of person that still believes that we'll sneak it until the points are impossible (shanks would have loved me- blind faith in LFC)
having said that, this season we seem both equipped and hungry enough to really give it a good go- a good start for the team and new signings will hopefully get us a bit of momentum to build on.
the chavs look like they still know how to win, even if they look less than solid at the back
arsenal are not as far behind as they and the media are suggesting and sadly you can never rule out the drunk tramp.
how we respond to carra's knock is important- and with a few days until the window closes i expect a little strengthening to happen. talk of richards is fanciful at best, but we must have 7m or so floating about from the non heinze transfer.
all in all very encouraging. i wouldn't want to be a derby fan next weekend"At a football club, there's a holy trinity - the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don't come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques"

Yeah but we all know it won't last into the winter.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostI'm already getting slightly sick of Arsenal scoring late goals at home to bail them out of the ****. They did it almost incessantly last season and it's carried on this.
Too many soft as ****e lady boys, there's no Vieira or Campbell to mix it physically, plus they'll be decimated by the African Nations cup call ups.I hate Polanski

Chavs are desperate to win the CL, and Man U always want to have a good start before the other comps start.
Arsenal will of course not be far away, but over the course of a season i think they'll come unstuck often.
I'd like to see us land another player, but we don't seem to be in a rush in that regard and i wouldn't be too dissapointed if this was our lot until Janurary....

If we can do that I think we'll be there or there abouts in March/April....
Today was a good test without Gerrard so and the next few weeks without Carra will tell another story. You can agree with me, or you can be wrong.
