Only saw the highlights and didnt catch the incident involving Sami, but Carra's looked a pretty innocuous bump with Pepe. In fact, there didnt seem to be much contact at all from the tv replay. Carra was standing, & Pepe jumped to collect a ball, and immediately afterwards Carra just feels his ribs.
TBH it didnt look really bad as he (Carra) was still bawling at everyone left right and centre, even as he was coming off!!
Hopefully wont be too long term - ribs can be funny things.
"I do not like to do the accounts of the milkwoman!" Rafa Benitez
Sami -broken nose -didn't look happy when he went off by guesturing to the bench he'd been elbowed -replaced by Agger.
Carra-think he got a knee in the ribs when going for a header -not absolutely sure-
Having broken and bruised ribs myself sometimes its easier to recover with a fracture than a bad intercostal rib strain
When Riise was about to replace Babel Carra had a "Rampton" and howled to the bench to delay the sub and minutes later Riise replaced him going to LB and Arbeloa into the centre when he did OK.
