Coz i've spent most of my life in the minority and it doesn't upset me. I get frustrated when poeple can't/wont understand plain english and leap to conclusions, but there's plenty of good posters too. Seeing as this thread is specifically about fickle fans, I think its ok for me to post that in here?

If you hate me so much why do you keep following me about? If you disagree with my assesment, why do you get so rude and abusive when people disagree with you?

Rude and abusive? Maybe to you because I think you come on these forums to deliberately wind people up. What I don't get is why your opinions are always different to other peoples? I mean everyone has differing views every now and again but If I was to say white you sure as dam it you will say black. That to me is someone who either has a chip on their shoulder or someone who is on a wind up and I can't work you out. I don't think you have agreed with anyone on anything on these forums and I find that very strange. I think anyone can find a common ground with someone on something but with you I think you deliberately think the opposite just to cause an argument. It's funny how on nearly any thread you post on trouble is never far away. I haven't sworn or been abusive on this thread and I can assure you I am not following you about and I apologise if I have caused any offence but you are on a wind up and your taking it to far.

My own thoughts pre-season was that I was not looking forward to it much.

I have had my hopes dashed on too many occasions in the past.

That said, we have made a great start. I still refuse to get carried away until at least December though (easier said than done if the current forms continues).

I'd wait until Crimbo at least before making bold predictions about our team, however so far so good

I We've dick****ed everyone we've played this year, including Chavski. Just need to be more clinical.

I'm not making a bold prediction mate. Already you can see that we've made major progress this year and we have improved significantly. I'm not predicting that we will win the league, just that we can challenge. I'm not saying all the new players are gonna be superstars, but so far they have looked promising. It was the people I'm talking about making the bold predictions, that we definitely wont win the league, that certain players have absolutely no chance of doing well etc. It's only 5 games in, so how come they aren't so adamant now? If we had of lost all 5, I still wouldn't have given up hope and still been arguing my points, while them boys would be having a field day with their I told you so's'.

Long may the diversity of opinion continue - thats what makes these forums interesting. The day we all agree on everything we may as well shut this place down.

At the end of the day we all care about Liverpool FC. It does not matter what anyone has said or who they have criticised - anyone can change their minds no?

So far so good for Liverpool FC. Lets hope we are celebrating come May.

I don't mind people haven't a different opinion, it's what these forums are about. But it was the arrogance of certain posters, they didn't even give explanations in their replies, just dismissed peoples opinions with stupid smileys or comments and refused to accept that certain players or the club might do well. It was the arrogance and smugness about them, that they knew everything because the played FM or read something in a paper that really annoyed me.

The one's who argued a valid point I had no problem with and I aint tarring everyone with the same brush. It was just the ones that you noticed popping up in different threads with the same unsubstantiated crap. Funnily enough I just looked up an old thread of mine and the majority of ****s in it have been banned, maybe that's whey they are so quiet now.

I never feel the need to post "I concur".

If someone has said what I think then why add to it? Thats all part of the clique-i-ness i've never got on with. However often when there is a debate going on you and I are on opposite sides, there are other people too on either side. It does not mean i'm arguing with everyone does it?

I'm an independant thinker, I hate most of what goes on in the world and find very little is exactly how i'd like things. Just because one thing is better than another does not mean it is perfect. Even these things need critical analysis IMO and so maybe i'm a depressed whinge bag, but at least my views join up, are based on research and reality and are my own regardless of popularity. I dont like to settle for things and if i see something i think is wrong i'll speak up about it. If you and paul and others cant cope with that and are reduced to threats (Paulcooper) I wonder why you spend so much time on a Discussion Forum?

I pick my threads and comment on what i believe in, to say i'm a wind up merchant is ridiculous! You wont find any bull**** or flannel in my posts, no cliquey arse licking or gang building, this is a discussion forum about LFC and here in the library, anything else. That's what I enjoy, discussing things, if that upsets you, well I'll look to ensure i'm not being flippant or offensive, but apart from that, tough ****. You wont hear me moaning to mods, posting threats, hijacking threads overusing offensive smileys or generally being an immature little **** about disagreement.
