This acronym was probably one of the most used phrases preseason. I didn't have a clue what it meant until after about a month, even though I think I got hit with it a few times too.

It seemed anyone who had any hint of optimism got categorised by this and generally mocked and insulted for their lack of knowledge.

'I think we can challenge for the title' - Oh, you're obviously part of the RCDNW brigade, because everyone who knows anything about football knows that United will win easily.

'Voronin could surprise a few people this year' - Don't be stupid, he was a free, and although I've never seen him play he's crap. You must be part of the RCDNW brigade.

'Torres might prove to be the missing link' - No he wont, Eto'o was our main target, we should have spent £100m on him, Rafa has ****ed up again, you must be part of the RCDNW brigade.

These comments are slightly paraphrased, but you get the gist. There were many more too and endless threads dismissed by these patronising idiots that thought they knew everything.

Anyway, where are all these people now? Where are all the doubters and doom and gloom merchants hiding? Are they just waiting for our first slip up or have they jumped on the bandwagon?

I didn't tell anyone anything. I thought we'd do well and thought Yossi was a decent signing. I admittedly didn't know anything about Voronin, hardly heard of Lucas outside FM, was unsure about Babel, although thought Torres would be great. I only had an opinion and was willing to wait and see. Certain people had watched these players closely and when they gave their opinion were slated by people who didn't have a clue and nothing to base their opinion on.

Five games doesn't prove anything obviously, just wondering why the critics are so silent?

I never feel the need to post "I concur".

If someone has said what I think then why add to it? Thats all part of the clique-i-ness i've never got on with. However often when there is a debate going on you and I are on opposite sides, there are other people too on either side. It does not mean i'm arguing with everyone does it?

I'm an independant thinker, I hate most of what goes on in the world and find very little is exactly how i'd like things. Just because one thing is better than another does not mean it is perfect. Even these things need critical analysis IMO and so maybe i'm a depressed whinge bag, but at least my views join up, are based on research and reality and are my own regardless of popularity. I dont like to settle for things and if i see something i think is wrong i'll speak up about it. If you and paul and others cant cope with that and are reduced to threats (Paulcooper) I wonder why you spend so much time on a Discussion Forum?

I pick my threads and comment on what i believe in, to say i'm a wind up merchant is ridiculous! You wont find any bull**** or flannel in my posts, no cliquey arse licking or gang building, this is a discussion forum about LFC and here in the library, anything else. That's what I enjoy, discussing things, if that upsets you, well I'll look to ensure i'm not being flippant or offensive, but apart from that, tough ****. You wont hear me moaning to mods, posting threats, hijacking threads overusing offensive smileys or generally being an immature little **** about disagreement.

What's all this clique-i-ness rubbish? arse licking? Gang banging? Just because a large group of people get on and have a laugh on a discussion forum doesn't make them a clique anyone and everyone joins in it's called banter.

I don't think many if any people moan to mods on here I think we a mature enough bunch and sensible enough to sort out our own differences. It seems to me that unless we conform to your rules everyone is an arse licking, gang banging, thread hijacking **** well I'm sorry mate it doesn't work like that and to coin a phrase you use 'tough ****'. I use the rule that unless I'm told otherwise by a mod then I'll carry on with what I am doing.

You make out your some high and mighty intelligent individual who is above lots of us little people on here well that's bollocks everyone is equal everyone is entitled to their say if the mods asks you to stop you stop if the mod lets you crack on you crack on.

Get off that high horse your on and chill out we are all Liverpool fans at the end of the day and all here for that very same reason.
